Teachers are considered nation builders as the future of any nation is in their hands. They are the moderators through whom knowledge and information is transferred to students, who represent the foundation of society. Education brings about certain behavioural changes in the learner with an aim to foster better livelihood and dignified living.
Teacher education is a broad term which deals with the Preparation of teachers from Primary level to secondary level. At Krishna Institute of Education Girls we must give more attention to the interplay between the science of teaching pedagogy and the art of teaching. A teacher must be anchored in pedagogy and blend imagination, creativity and inspiration into the teaching learning process to ignite a passion for learning in students.
Here apart from academic development done with syllabus transaction in regular classroom teaching, training of the prospective teachers is emphasized with Simulated, Micro and Integrated teaching followed by rigorous teaching practice. In addition, workshops are organized to help the students polish their Confidence, teaching skills and class management. The Institute gives equal importance to co-curricular development of the Prospective teachers through many cultural, sports and literary activities that are organized in the institute throughout the year.
